Below is the Table of Contents of the Proceedings of the First International Conference on Diagnostic Ultrasound at the University of Pittsburgh, 1965. There were 33 papers presented, all representing the early pioneering work in diagnostic ultrasonography in the early 1960s. Most of the ultrasound pioneers were present at the meeting.

The Proceedings were edited by Charles Grossman, Joseph Holmes, Claude Joyner and Edward Purnell and published in July, 1966 by Plenum Press, New York.
